Providing a caring and supportive environment that encourages personal growth
Services
Individual Adult
In therapy individuals can find comfort in bringing themselves closer to the expansion of self and their expression. Asking for help takes an incredible amount of courage. Therapy is a collaborative process and I take great pleasure in serving individuals who are eager to address concerns and uncover barriers that are standing in the way of a more fulfilling life. Providing an active approach by promoting education, introducing skills to cope and use of in-vivo exposure to address what is impacting them. In therapy one will get in touch with their innate strengths and build positive coping skills to manage stress, emotional reactivity, anxiety and depression.

Individual Teen
Therapy for teens is incredibly useful for long-term success and growth, which can serve them throughout their life. Seems like teens need support from a trusted adult more than ever; naturally steering away from parental advice, turning toward their peers and looking on social media ie. posts, messaging, and trends.
In therapy, there will be an introduction of strategies to reduce anxiety, stress, depression, hopelessness, or self-doubt. Increasing safety, implementing healthy coping skills to replace unhealthy habits such self-harm behaviors and improve self-esteem. And learning to express oneself appropriately and improve communication with those special people or in getting one's needs met.

Group
Gender inclusive Middle School Group: Intake is required prior to the start group (50 min. $230). This allows the therapist to make sure the group is the right fit and build understanding of individual needs. This 1:1 time can allow the potential group member to understand what to expect and increase a sense of safety with the facilitator.
Middle School Group
(Grades 7-8th)
Meets: Wednesday 2:30-3:20pm
This gender inclusive process group aims to address the anxiety 12-14 year old teens experience in their experience of middle school. The primary focus of the group is to help create a safe space for young teens to process their thoughts and emotions with other individuals and gain skills to help support coping with change. Including but not limited to, friendship struggles, academic pressures, and/or impact social media has on their view of self. The group helps to equip youth with tools to build a more positive self-image, increase confidence and improve communication in social settings. Participants will also learn how to better navigate peer interactions, build better social connections and a stronger sense of belonging.

Parent & Family Therapy
Is it hard to connect with your teen? Does it seem like their desire for independence has left you questioning and curious about their internal world? Although hard, it is developmentally appropriate for teens to display efforts to be more private, perhaps a seeking advice from peers or from social media. Therefore, parents of teens also need guidance during these hardships. I aim to support parents building understanding and exploring approaches to better connect and make the shifts in their parenting to achieve outcomes that are achievable in understanding where their teen is at in their development. Learning to manage their own emotions, reactions, and approach their teen with improve communication strategies.
